Author: Dr. Lan Jones (Show all albums) We traveled on rugged winding narrow twisted mountain roads to reach the village of Tai Xua in Son La province ( closed to the Laostian border) and the village of Ban Peo in Gia Lai province (closed to the border with China) where children live with very little, many still live without electricity even though the temperature can drop below freezing and there is snow and ice storm. Beside dental education program, we also provided winter jackets for 600 elementary school children.
